We were missing each other so much we had to log in to skype
and sleep together via the webcam.
It has been 4 weeks now since my boyfriend left for
Australia, and it’s kinda hard for me to not miss him because it was our first
time in 2 years of living together to be apart from each other.
I stopped seeing Kurt because I don’t want to cheat on my
boyfriend anymore. I love him too much to have sex to another person.
It was February 12 –our 20th month anniversary. It’s
the first time that I’ll be celebrating this day without him.
I woke up at 10 am, took a shower, dressed up and went to
the mall. Since it’s also my day-off, I can spend the rest of the day wandering
around to not miss him. This is something I don’t usually do, during my day
offs, I stay at home, rest and wait for my boyfriend to come home.
To make the story short, I spent the whole day shopping and
eating whatever I want. I bought some groceries, so I can cook when my
boyfriend comes home.
As I was walking, I saw something that reminded me of my
sweetie –a shirt saying ‘I love my girlfriend’. He usually makes that statement
as a status in his facebook.
I hurriedly bought that shirt along with a partner shirt
saying ‘I love my boyfriend.’ And hey, it is a couple shirt, by the way.
I went to the department store and got some new flats because
I my feet were killing me –did I tell you I was wearing heels?
When I got hungry, I went to the nearest fast food chain,
and ate there. I ordered a hamburger meal because I want to go shop for more.
After eating, I went to the salon and had my hair treated
because it was dry due to the freaking flat iron our house helper lend me. I also had my nails done because my manicure
was so 1 month ago. I want to look gorgeous when my boyfriend comes.
I shopped for more clothes, more bags and shoes. I bought my
boyfriend some shirts he had to wear when he’s having his exercise. I also
bought him some handkerchiefs because he’s lost every handkerchief he has for
unknown reasons.
I bought food for myself to eat while watching our favorite
movies.
Before going home, I paid all the bills we had to pay. That’s
what he was always reminded me days before he left for Australia. I paid for
the internet bill, electric and water bill, our post paid bill and all other bills
we had.
I was a busy girl during our 20th month
anniversary. I made myself so busy so my mind will be diverted. If I’ll be
idle, I’ll only remember him and be sad for the rest of the day which is
supposed to be a happy day, right?
When I opened the door, I saw petals of roses; it was like
leading me to our bedroom. I was like, okay, is my boyfriend here? I thought he’s
going to be in Australia for 3 months? And if he’s here, why in the world would
he do this highschool stuff?
I followed the trail of petals until my bedroom. There I saw
my computer opened, logged on to Skype and my boyfriend was patiently waiting
for me.
I hurried to my computer and asked my boyfriend how did he
do this, he simply smiled that his mom went here and do whatever he asked her
to do.
He told me he cooked our favorite meal there to somewhat remember
me no our day. He also had coffee beside him but he said I make the most
delicious coffee in the world. Better than mom makes.
As we were talking to each other, he played our theme song
and sang for me. I got tears falling on my cheeks as he was singing. He was
never this sweet before. We usually celebrate our monthsaries by just going out
for a dinner of just staying at home cuddling each other. I guess he really
missed me so much, that’s why he did
that.
We talked about what we both did the whole day, I told him
everything I did, that I went shopping just to forget the longing I have for
him while he’s gone.
What he did? He waited for me to come home. And while
waiting, he asked his mom to go to our house and do the necessary things for a
surprise Skype date –Aw, what a sweet gesture, darling!
We had our date via Skype for the first time. We talked
about anything and everything under the sun. It sure is the sweetest thing he
ever did for our monthsary.
Thank you, Skype!
Happy 20th month, babe!
